The variety is intended exclusively for cultivation in Short Rotation Coppice energy willow plantations for the production of wood fuel. The plant forms dense thickets with a large number of shoots and is characterized by a high biomass yield potential.

The clone possesses high tolerance to stress conditions, in particular to soil contamination with lead, and is also capable of effectively sequestering soil organic carbon. In scientific literature, the name "Jorr" is sometimes encountered in relation to other willow species; therefore, when selecting material, one should consider the botanical classification as Salix viminalis.
