The tree is distinguished by a pyramidal or broad-pyramidal crown with noticeably elongated lower scaffold branches that reach half the height of the crown. The trunk is straight with a clearly defined leader, young shoots are gray-brown in color, leaves are lanceolate and fall late.
The plant has a deep root system, ensuring high wind resistance. The variety is characterized as relatively resistant to watermark disease of willow caused by Brenneria salicis.
