10 August 2026
The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization of willow forms originating from Siberia and the Swedish variety Jorr, with a genetic link to Salix triandra and Salix viminalis species. The crop is characterized by high productivity and stable biomass yield indicators when harvested every 3–4 years.
The plant possesses good tolerance to drought and is suitable for soils with low water-holding capacity. During trials, eight-year-old shoots reached a height of 6.42 m with a diameter of 3.3 cm. The variety shows sensitivity to vole damage and is often used in mixed plantations.
