The variety is a hybrid of Salix viminalis and Salix schwerinii. It possesses intensive growth, where stems reach a height of over 3.5 meters in the first year after planting a 20-centimeter cutting. It differs from other varieties by having a smaller number of shoots, and the stems have a slight curve.
The plant begins vegetation early and retains its foliage until mid-November. It possesses low susceptibility to willow rust Melampsora sp. and moderate resistance to beetle infestation. In addition to energy purposes, it is used for biofiltration due to its intensive moisture consumption.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
