The variety is a hybrid of Salix viminalis × Salix burjatica. It is specialized for use in energy forestry systems, where it demonstrates high dry matter yields, averaging 15.4 tonnes per hectare per year.
The plant is adapted to temperate and oceanic climates. The optimal harvest cycle is 2–3 years. The variety is susceptible to willow rust (Melampsora spp.), therefore it is recommended to cultivate it in mixed stands to control the spread of diseases.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
