The variety was developed within the framework of Swedish breeding programs for plantation cultivation aimed at producing wood fuel. It is included in the list of certified varieties created during the 1990–2015 period for intensive biomass production.
The breeding of the variety was aimed at achieving high yield, the formation of straight shoot growth, as well as increasing resistance to leaf rust, pests, and tolerance to frost. Detailed data on morphology and quantitative indicators of product quality are absent.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
