The variety is a hybrid obtained as a result of breeding work involving the species Salix viminalis and S. schwerinii. The plant is characterized by high growth vigor and a significant proportion of leaf mass, which makes it promising for use as an energy crop.

In field trials, the variety showed resistance to fungal diseases. Plant productivity directly depends on growing conditions and the degree of pest damage, as growth indicators may decrease under external impact.
