The variety is a complex hybrid bred according to the scheme (S. schwerinii x S. viminalis) x (S. schwerinii x S. viminalis). The primary purpose of the plant is biomass production for energy purposes.

The plant is characterized by high productivity and rapid growth under favorable conditions, as well as an ability for efficient tillering after pruning. Breeding was aimed at ensuring resistance to diseases and pests; however, in poor soil conditions or under extreme stress, the yield of the variety may decrease.
