The variety is an energy clone grown using short-rotation forestry technology to produce biomass. The variety is also being studied for its ability to extract heavy metals such as cadmium and zinc from the soil.
During studies, leaf damage by rust (Melampsora spp.) was noted. Precise morphological characteristics, such as height or maturity parameters, are not recorded in the publications.
