The variety is a hybrid of cultivated rye and wild perennial mountain rye. The primary purpose of the crop is to produce forage mass, which is particularly effective on lands with unfavorable soil conditions.

The grain of the variety is characterized by an increased crude protein content of about 18%. The nutritional value of the green mass depends on the growth phase: in the early stem elongation phase, the protein content reaches 30.7%, and in the late stem elongation and heading phases, the green mass yield is from 19.66 to 23.91 t/ha.
