The variety Profi is nematode-resistant and is used as an intermediate crop for phytosanitary soil improvement in crop rotations with sugar beet.

The plant belongs to the late-maturing group. The late flowering of the variety allows for an extended vegetation period, which is necessary for a more effective impact on pest populations.
