The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Humalda and B 15-30 varieties. Studies from the 1980s noted the high yield of the variety compared to a number of other varieties of that period.

In scientific literature, the variety appears in studies on resistance to potato wart (Synchytrium endobioticum). Current modern descriptions of the agronomic characteristics of the variety are absent in publicly available sources.
