The variety is the result of crossing the parent forms Lady Rosetta and Hedemarks-potet. It belongs to industrial varieties widely used for processing, in particular for chip production.
Agronomic plant protection references note an increased susceptibility of the variety to black dot, caused by the pathogen Colletotrichum coccodes.
