Tubers are round or oval in shape, with creamy-yellow skin with blue or purple markings and white flesh. Eyes are of medium or deep depth. Flesh texture is floury.
The variety is associated with high historical resistance to late blight, while its vulnerability to a number of viral diseases is noted, which led to its disappearance from widespread cultivation.
