The potato variety Buschra was bred in Germany. In publications of the late 1980s, it was classified as a red-skinned variety and was also mentioned in scientific papers devoted to the study of glycoalkaloid content, in particular alpha-solanine and chaconine, in the tubers.
At present, detailed morphological and agrotechnical characteristics of the variety, such as disease resistance or productivity indicators, are absent from open reference sources. The variety is not commercially active or widely distributed.
