The variety belongs to the late maturity group, the vegetation period is from 110 to 150 days. Tubers are characterized by an elongated, oblong, or club-shaped form. The skin is red, and the flesh is yellow.
The potato flesh is firm, not mealy, and the dry matter content is about 21.7%. The variety is suitable for boiling, steaming, salads, gratins, purees, and soups. The yield of the variety reaches 46.7 t/ha, and keeping quality during storage is 5–7 months.
The variety is sensitive to late blight and other fungal leaf diseases. Genetically, the variety is related to combinations of the varieties Rosa and Vale or Passion x 01F 95.1. It has been known since 1950 and was used in breeding the Chérie variety.
