The variety was introduced in 2005 by breeders at the Oak Park center, located in Carlow. It is part of the range of breeding achievements of the Teagasc organization.
A detailed description of the morphological characteristics of the plant, disease resistance indicators, and product quality characteristics are not provided in open publications.
