The variety is the result of crossing Eldorado and 250-04-2. Tubers are short-oval to oval in shape with shallow eyes. The variety is primarily intended for processing into chips, but it can also be used for table purposes.
The plant has moderate resistance to a number of pathogens and also shows good tolerance to heat and drought. The variety is included in the lists of resistant (robust) varieties suitable for organic farming.
