The variety belongs to the "second early" category. The tubers are oval in shape, with white skin with a netted structure and fairly deep eyes. The flesh is white, mealy, and has a sweetish buttery taste. The variety is suitable for baking, boiling, frying, and making puree; it is appropriate for summer consumption and winter storage.
The variety has moderate resistance to common scab and late blight, but is susceptible to potato cyst nematode. Currently, work is underway to preserve the variety through government archives and micropropagation methods.
