The variety was bred by hybridization of the varieties Piccolo Star and Ampera. The plant is characterized by a semi-erect habit and intermediate foliage structure. Sprouts have an ovoid shape, weak anthocyanin coloration of the base, and medium density of pubescence.
Tubers have a short-oval or oval shape, eyes are of shallow or medium depth. Flowers are characterized by a corolla of medium or large size with an absence or very low degree of anthocyanin coloration of the flower buds.
The variety is vegetatively propagated and is distinguished by its versatility in cooking, being suitable for boiling, frying, and making puree. In a number of countries, the variety is undergoing testing for resistance to potato wart.
