The variety belongs to the mid-season group. Scientific research has confirmed the presence in the variety's genotype of molecular markers associated with genes for extreme resistance to potato virus Y (PVY), in particular the Rychc gene. The variety also possesses resistance to late blight and a number of other viral pathogens.
The plant is characterized by high yield. The genetic material of the variety was studied at the Polissya Experimental Station of the Institute of Potato Research of the NAAS of Ukraine, where the high efficiency of its clonal propagation was noted. The variety is used both for production purposes and in breeding programs to improve potato resistance.
