The variety was obtained by crossing Hinga and Senator. The plant possesses high growth vigor and forms 10 to 15 tubers per hill. The tubers have a short-oval shape, yellow skin, and light-yellow flesh; the eyes are quite deep.
The produce is characterized by a dry matter content of 27–29% and a starch content of 20.5–22.5%. The variety demonstrates full resistance to potato wart (pathotype F1) and the nematode G. rostochiensis (Ro1-4). A very high resistance to the Y virus and its necrotic strain is noted, as well as high leaf resistance to late blight.
