The variety is a GM-modification of the classic Russet Burbank, into the genome of which Bacillus thuringiensis genes have been inserted for protection against the Colorado potato beetle and resistance to the potato leafroll virus. The plant is late-maturing, characterized by a tall, spreading bush with weakly pigmented stems.
The tubers have a long shape, white flesh, and a russeted brownish skin with uniformly distributed eyes. The potato is distinguished by a high dry matter content, which makes it suitable for processing into french fries. The variety requires regular soil moisture to prevent secondary growth.
