Variety description

10 August 2026

Tubers have an oval or long-oval shape, white or cream smooth skin, and flesh of the same color. The superficial position of the eyes facilitates the culinary processing process. The variety forms uniform tubers with good commercial characteristics.

In terms of culinary properties, the variety is considered universal, suitable for baking, boiling, and salads. The texture of the flesh is described as firm, waxy, with a description of mealy consistency occurring less frequently. The variety is popular in retail packaging and is used for exhibition purposes.

The plant possesses moderate resistance to common scab and blackleg. Resistance to viruses and nematodes has also been noted. The variety is a descendant of the Kestrel variety and demonstrates high yield.
