The potato variety Ottena (sometimes Otten) was obtained by breeder W. Otten in the Netherlands. The pedigree of this variety records a combination of parental forms EBA x AM 66-42.
In agronomic publications, the variety is mentioned primarily in the context of pathogen resistance studies; in particular, its resistance to potato cyst nematode pathotype Ro1 is noted. Detailed morphological characteristics and data on commercial suitability are absent from open sources.
