The Rocco variety forms erect or semi-erect bushes of medium height. The tubers have an oval or elongated-oval shape, their skin is colored red or red-violet, and the flesh has a light cream shade that does not change during heat treatment.
The plant belongs to mid-season or mid-late varieties with a vegetation period from 85 to 110 days. The variety is distinguished by high yield and good keeping quality, suitable for culinary use, as well as for processing into french fries and chips.
The crop is characterized by high resistance to viral diseases and drought tolerance.
