The variety belongs to the first early maturity group and was obtained by crossing the F12/17 and D42/8 lines. Plants reach a height of 60 cm. The variety has good general disease resistance, including golden nematode, but is characterized by high susceptibility to tuber late blight.
Tubers have a round or oval shape, smooth white skin, and white flesh with a waxy texture. It is a table variety intended for fresh consumption by boiling or steaming. The harvest is not intended for long-term storage; tuber quality decreases if left in the soil for more than 13 weeks after maturity.
