The variety is mid-late, has tall open-type plants with abundant flowering and anthocyanin coloration of stems and flowers. Tubers have an elongated shape, sometimes with a curved end, and shallow eyes.
The potato is distinguished by a high dry matter content and a tendency to boil down, making it suitable for mashed potatoes and baking. The variety is characterized by low yield and late tuber sprouting, which contributes to their good storage.
The plant is susceptible to late blight and potato leafroll virus, but shows resistance to Fusarium and mop-top virus. Currently grown primarily as a collection variety for the preservation of cultural heritage.
