Plant of medium height, intermediate type, bush habit varies from erect to semi-erect, flowers are of a reddish-purple shade. Tubers have smooth yellow skin, yellow flesh and small shallow eyes.
Starch content is 13–18%, culinary type — B, C. Marketability of produce is within the range of 77–91%, keeping quality is estimated at 94%. When boiled, the flesh usually does not darken.
The variety possesses genetically determined resistance to potato virus Y (genes Ny-1 and Ny-2) and to nematode pathotypes Ro 1 and Ro 4. It possesses high drought tolerance; besides table use, it is suitable for processing into chips.
