The variety was created by crossing wild species and Hungarian varieties as part of a breeding program led by István Sárvári. The main purpose of the line was its use as genetic material for breeding and the creation of specialized varieties with improved immunity.
In studies from 2000–2003, moderate resistance of the variety to late blight (Phytophthora infestans) was noted. Upon inoculation with certain pathogen isolates, the formation of hypersensitive lesions was observed on the leaves. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and tubers are absent in open sources.
