Variety description

10 August 2026

The Suzan variety was obtained by crossing parental forms KE 300/43 and Colette. The tubers have smooth yellow skin and yellow flesh; the variety is distinguished by an attractive appearance and is suitable for washing and packaging.

The variety possesses high resistance to potato cyst nematode, potato wart, common scab, and viral diseases. To achieve maximum productivity when harvesting early, the use of irrigation and covering materials is recommended.

This potato variety is characterized by a rich taste and belongs to the waxy culinary type, which makes it suitable for fresh consumption.
