The plant forms vigorous, erect haulm and flowers with purple blossoms. The tubers are large, round-shaped, with rather deep eyes and white flesh.
The variety possesses good keeping quality and a low tendency to sprout during storage. Genetic studies note the identity of the Tylva and Kiva varieties. In breeding, it was obtained as a hybrid of Dianella x Borger 879/49.
The variety exhibited resistance to late blight of the haulm due to the presence of the R4 gene. It is currently considered as historical breeding material.
