The variety is the result of crossing Sylvana and Cyrano. Intended for fresh consumption and culinary processing, it has a culinary type AB (slightly floury) and a dry matter content of 20.4–20.9%. Tubers do not darken after cooking and have good keeping quality.
The plant forms a vigorous, tall bush canopy; emergence is uniform. The tuber dormancy period is medium; heat treatment is recommended to break it. The variety is sensitive to metribuzin and requires caution during mechanical harvesting due to the large size of the tubers.
The variety is resistant to potato cyst nematode (Ro1, Ro4, Pa2, Pa3), potato wart (F1), and spraing. It is slightly susceptible to common scab and powdery scab. Susceptibility to tuber late blight and PVYn virus is noted, with tolerance to Yntn.
