The plant is a compact, dense, rounded shrub with pointed, serrated green leaves. The height of a mature plant is between 30 and 40 cm. The variety is a mutant selected from the species Spiraea japonica.

The dark pink flowers are collected in flat inflorescences. Abundant flowering occurs in June–July on current-year shoots. The shrub demonstrates rapid growth and good suitability for container cultivation.

The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zone 4, which allows it to withstand temperatures down to -34°C. The plant is intended for landscaping gardens, flower beds, rock gardens, and for use in container plantings.
