Variety description

The shrub forms a dense rounded cushion 40 to 75 cm high and up to 125 cm wide. A characteristic feature is the young leaves of a caramel-orange hue, which turn green over time and color in red-orange or golden tones in autumn.

Flowering occurs from June to September with purple-pink corymbose inflorescences 5–6 cm in diameter. The variety is winter hardy down to -25°C, possesses moderate drought tolerance, and requires spring pruning of shoots to 10–15 cm to maintain the decorative shape of the bush.
