Variety description

The plant is a coniferous shrub with a narrow columnar habit in youth, which becomes broader and denser over the years. The dark green needles are arcuate in shape. The variety is a male taxon and does not produce seeds.
A distinctive feature of the variety is its high growth rate: the annual increment of young specimens reaches 40 cm, and the height of mature plants can reach 10–15 meters. The variety possesses high frost resistance (zone 5a), is resistant to urban air pollution and diseases, and tolerates drought and pruning well.
