Variety description

The variety is an evergreen coniferous shrub discovered as a spontaneous mutation. The plant has a dense, thick, and well-branched crown. The needles are golden-yellow with orange shades in summer and have a characteristic green stripe in the center.
The plant is characterized as fast-growing, reaching a height of 150–200 cm and a width of up to 100 cm. It does not produce berries. The variety demonstrates high resistance to sunburn, tolerates sun and partial shade well, and has winter hardiness of up to -20 °C.
The yew does not require regular pruning due to the natural shape of the crown. It prefers humus-rich, moist soils. It is used in landscape design as a solitary plant, for creating hedges, topiary forms, and color accents.
