The plant has a narrow conical crown shape and reaches 2–4 meters in height with a width of 1–1.5 meters. The needles are scale-like, golden-yellow or yellow-green in color, and may acquire a bronze hue in winter. The intensity of the coloration depends on the lighting of the site.
