Variety description

The cultivar has a narrow, strictly columnar and very dense crown with short, upward-directed shoots. A mature plant usually reaches a height of 5–8 meters, more rarely up to 10 meters.

The scale-like needles are dark green in color and practically do not change their shade during the winter period. The cultivar is relatively fast-growing: the annual growth is about 15–30 cm in height and 5–8 cm in width.

The plant is undemanding to soils and is capable of growing on both acidic and alkaline substrates. It possesses high frost resistance and wind resistance, which makes it suitable for creating dense hedges and for use in landscape design.
