Variety description

The Concesarini variety, known in the trade as Pancake, is a natural mutation of the Linesville variety. The plant is characterized by very slow growth, reaching a height of 30–60 cm and a width of 60–90 cm at maturity, with some specimens reaching up to 1 meter in height.
The needles are scale-like, soft, colored sage-green in summer, which changes to grey-green or bluish-green shades in winter. The variety does not require special pruning to maintain its shape and is characterized by winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9.
The plant is used as an ornamental crop in alpine gardens, rock gardens, for creating borders, or as a groundcover element in small gardens.
