The variety is winter-hardy and originates from the crossing of Schwabenkorn and Schwabenspelz lines. The plant is medium-tall or tall and belongs to the late maturity group. Resistance to lodging is medium, however, the stem possesses a good ability to maintain a vertical position. The variety is adapted to various soil types, including less fertile ones, with a recommended seeding density of 110–120 plants per m².
The plant possesses pronounced resistance to Septoria, yellow rust, and powdery mildew. The grain is distinguished by high specific weight, quality baking characteristics, and protein content. An important feature of the variety is the ability for natural dehusking (separation of husks) during processing, which exceeds the performance of a number of other spelt varieties.
