The variety is the result of breeding work at the Institute of Agriculture of the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry. Plants reach an average height of about 92 cm, and the growing season averages 199 days. The variety is suitable for cultivation under medium-intensity farming conditions.
The grain is characterized by a high protein content of 13.3% and gluten content of about 26.2%. The amylose content in the starch is about 24.0%. The flour possesses excellent baking properties, allowing the variety to be used as an improver.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness and moderate resistance to lodging.
