The variety is a product of the breeding program of the Agricultural Institute in Osijek, which specializes in the development of winter cereal crops for the Pannonian Basin region.

The genotype of the variety is used in studies of the nutritional value of grain, as well as an object for comparative analysis of biochemical and physiological reactions of wheat to abiotic stresses and for the evaluation of gluten quality.
