The variety Axial (sometimes designated as H 46303/Axial) is a product of the breeding program of Nickerson International Research GEIE. In scientific literature, it is most often mentioned as a parental line in the development of other wheat varieties, such as Teesdale and Essekerka.
An official description of morphological traits, including plant height, disease resistance, or maturity dates, is not presented in open publications. The only recorded characteristic indicates low grain quality in terms of baking properties.
