Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was bred by crossing Moulton and EW129. It is characterized by vigorous growth in the autumn and spring periods, which contributes to effective competition with weeds. It possesses strong straw, ensuring resistance to lodging.

The plant has a reliable complex of disease resistance, including the Pch1 gene, which protects against eyespot, as well as resistance to wheat mosaic virus. The grain has good quality indicators, including a high falling number and a specific weight of approximately 78.5 kg/hl.

The variety belongs to group 3 according to the AHDB classification, which determines its main purpose: biscuit flour production, distilling, feed purposes, and export. It demonstrates stable yield performance on various soil types.
