Plants of the variety are characterized as short-statured, while possessing moderate lodging resistance and low winter hardiness. The variety shows good resistance to brown rust and high resistance to powdery mildew, however, it has low resistance to Fusarium head blight, leaf and glume blotch, and brown leaf spot. Resistance to stem base diseases is estimated as moderate.
The grain of the variety is large, uniform, with a low percentage of shriveled grains and good resistance to pre-harvest sprouting in the ear. The produce belongs to milling quality group B and is intended for milling and baking purposes. In intensive cultivation, the variety requires protection of the flag leaf and the ear.
