Winter wheat variety, ranging from mid-late to mid-early in heading time. The plant is short, possesses high winter hardiness, but is susceptible to lodging. Thousand kernel weight is relatively low, grain test weight is high, protein content is average. According to hardness, the grain belongs to the medium-hard group.

The variety shows good resistance to powdery mildew, brown rust, yellow rust, septoria, and Fusarium head blight. Resistant to certain types of pests, including orange wheat blossom midge, and possesses tolerance to chlortoluron herbicides. Used as a model variety in scientific research.
