The variety was developed by crossing Dons'kyi napivkarlyk and Bilotserkivs'ka 47, followed by individual selection. Plants have a height of 71–80 cm, an erect bush habit, and a white cylindrical awned ear. The grain is red, large, with a thousand kernel weight of 48–50 g. During flowering and grain formation, a pronounced waxy bloom is observed on the leaves and the ear.
The growing season of the variety lasts 264 days on average. The variety shows increased winter hardiness and lodging resistance. It is noted for moderate resistance to leaf diseases and Fusarium head blight. The grain contains 14.1% protein and 27–32% gluten. Potential yield is up to 9.65 t/ha, recommended for cultivation in the Polissya and Forest-Steppe zones.
2 jurisdictions
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
A single variety may be registered in different countries under different names. All records are consolidated into one profile based on the breeder's code—an internal number that is identical for the variety across all registries.
The primary name shown is the one under which the variety is registered in the largest number of jurisdictions. Search finds the variety by any of its names.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
