The variety belongs to winter forms of soft wheat. In scientific literature, it has gained the status of a reference sample against which baking quality indicators of new breeding achievements are compared, in particular flour strength determined by the alveography method.

Morphologically, the variety is characterized by the presence of flag leaves with a very high degree of curvature. In agrotechnical publications, the variety is mentioned in the context of experimental farming methods, where a sparse sowing scheme of 50x50 cm was used for it.

Currently, the variety is practically not used in industrial production, retaining its importance primarily as an object for comparative trials and historical genetic material.
