The winter soft wheat variety Emmit appears in research from the University of Guelph in Canada. In scientific publications, it is presented as a check variety exhibiting susceptibility to Fusarium head blight.
This variety is also recorded in agronomic materials as one of the parental components for breeding new soft wheat varieties, for example, the variety Marker.
